 CHIAPAS

Located in the beautiful city of San Cristobal de las Casas in the state of Chiapas, our group of craftswomen was founded in 2012 and have been growing exponentially which allowed them receive help from non-governmental programs aimed to modernize the artisanal sector. A true story of achievement, passion and unity among women is what Kip Tik presents in each of the embroidery of our pieces.

Undoubtedly Chiapas is one of the states of the Mexican Republic with the greatest wealth of textile techniques such as; the backstrap loom, pedal, embroidery, basketry and macrame and this made obvious our decision to work in this region and to find a group of craftswomen to help us land our ideas. Kip Tik is a unique place where magic really occur through the ganes of the craftswomen. Cooperation and dedication are the main pillars for success in their productions and under the guidance of Margarita, Guillermo, Ceci and Mari to achieve commitment and quality that should express by their pieces, which allowed them to have customers around the world.
